DiskInternals Access Recovery - Undelete, Recover and Repair Access Databases
Review by on
Did something unexpected happen and your Access database is no longer accessible? Did you accidentally delete an Access database? If you answered “yes” to both those questions, then it means you are in a bit of a jam. You don’t need to sweat it though. What you need to do is turn to software; there are specialized applications out there that can lend a helping hand.

One such application is the DiskInternals-developed and aptly named DiskInternals Access Recovery, an application that can undelete, recover and repair Access databases. Here is what you can expect to get from DiskInternals Access Recovery, from a functionality point of view:

- Repairs corrupted Microsoft Access databases
“Unlike other database recovery tools, DiskInternals Access Recovery does not limit its work to fixing database headers or repairing damaged structures. Instead, DiskInternals Access Recovery reconstructs the entire structure of a database by splitting the database record by record, and assembling the records back into a working database. All records are carefully recovered, including table data and queries,” says the developer.

- Recovers deleted Microsoft Access .mdb and .accdb database files from damaged disks
“DiskInternals Access Recovery comes equipped with Uneraser engine, making it possible to unerase deleted databases automatically. The PowerSerch engine thoroughly scans the surface of the hard drive in order to locate and recover all MS Access databases on the disk. Even if the disk is severely damaged, reformatted, or has its file system corrupted, DiskInternals Access Recovery can still reliably locate and recover Access database files.,” says the developer.

Before you go get DiskInternals Access Recovery and put it to the test, take a look at the technical details presented below:

Supported OS – at the time of writing this and according to the developer, DiskInternals Access Recovery is compatible with Windows 2000, 2003 Server, 2008 R2, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.
